Baisakhi Amrit Snan & Ram Navami package, Haridwar Kumbh 2027

The Haridwar Kumbh is timed to Mesh Sankranti, when the sun enters Aries while Jupiter is in Aquarius. Its Amrit Snan is the heart of the mela, and Ram Navami follows the next morning, when Brahma Kund is open to everyone again.

  1. 13 April

    Arrive, meet and settle in. Guided evening aarti. At night, join the akhara procession (subject to permission and passes).

  2. 14 April · Mesh Sankranti, 3rd Amrit Snan

    Walk with the akharas to Har Ki Pauri. Rest. Evening photography walk through the mela.

  3. 15 April · Ram Navami

    Brahma Kund snan and Ganga puja. Akharas of Kankhal and Mayapur in the afternoon.

  4. 16 April

    Kankhal: Daksha's city walk, then departure.
