Kumbh Mela 2027 Packages

Six ways to attend, each with its transport, stay basis, inclusions and exclusions set out in full — and a quotation process with no headline price you later discover was not the real one.

Why there is no headline price on this page

Mela-period costs are driven by how close your dates fall to a principal bathing day, and the official 2027 bathing calendar has not been published yet. Haridwar hotel tariffs around those dates are set late and move sharply once they are. Rather than publish a figure we invented, we quote properly: send your dates and group size and you get a written, itemised quotation.

On principal bathing days the centre of Haridwar closes to vehicles and parking moves several kilometres out. A same-day visit on those particular dates involves long walks and is not advisable for anyone with limited mobility. We will say so plainly when quoting.

Senior-Friendly Kumbh

Older pilgrims and anyone who needs a slower pace and shorter walks.

Duration: 4 days / 3 nights

Transport: Private vehicle, with drop-offs placed as close to each site as the day's restrictions permit.

Accommodation: Ground-floor or lift-served rooms where available, requested at the time of booking.

Outline

  1. Arrival with a rest day, aarti viewed from a less crowded vantage point
  2. Snan at a quieter ghat rather than the main section
  3. One hill temple by cable car only
  4. Kankhal at an easy pace, departure

Included

  • ·Accommodation on twin-sharing basis
  • ·Daily breakfast and dinner
  • ·Private vehicle with driver, with waiting time built into the plan
  • ·Driver allowance, fuel, tolls and state taxes
  • ·Assistance with Uttarakhand tourist registration

Not included

  • ·Cable car tickets
  • ·Wheelchair or palanquin assistance, which we can arrange separately
  • ·Lunch and personal expenses

We will be honest about what is and is not manageable. The waterline at Har Ki Pauri is reached by wet stone steps and cannot be made step-free, and crowd density on snan days is genuinely difficult. We plan around both rather than pretending otherwise.

What actually moves the price

  • ·How close your dates fall to a principal bathing day — this is the single largest factor
  • ·Hotel category, and how close to the ghats you want to be
  • ·Group size, which sets the vehicle and the per-person split
  • ·Room sharing — twin, triple or single occupancy
  • ·Whether you need airport transfers, and from which airport
  • ·Season, since mela dates overlap the start of the Char Dham season

How the quotation works

  1. 1. Tell us your dates and numbers

Even an approximate window is enough to start. Send it by form, phone or WhatsApp — whichever suits you.

  2. 2. We check what is actually available

We confirm vehicle and room availability for those dates against the traffic and crowd plan, rather than quoting a number and sorting it out later.

  3. 3. You receive a written, itemised quotation

In writing, with inclusions and exclusions listed line by line, so you can compare it against anyone else's quote on equal terms.

  4. 4. Confirm when you are ready

Booking is confirmed against an advance, with the balance due as set out in the quotation. Cancellation terms are stated in writing before you pay.
