Do Dham Yatra Package — Kedarnath & Badrinath — FAQs

What is Do Dham Yatra and how is it different from Char Dham?
Do Dham Yatra covers two of the four shrines — most commonly Kedarnath and Badrinath. It is ideal for pilgrims who are short on time or want a shorter, more affordable pilgrimage than the full Char Dham.
What is the cost of Char Dham Yatra 2027?
A road Char Dham Yatra package generally starts from around ₹20,000–₹30,000 per person for shared travel, while helicopter packages range from about ₹1.8–2.3 lakh per person. Final cost depends on hotel category, group size and vehicle. Contact India Holiday Home for an exact 2027 quote.
How many days are required for Char Dham Yatra?
A complete Char Dham Yatra by road usually takes 10 to 12 days from Haridwar or Delhi. By helicopter it can be completed in just 5 to 6 days. Do Dham (Kedarnath + Badrinath) takes around 5 to 6 days by road.
Is registration mandatory for Char Dham Yatra?
Yes. Every pilgrim must complete the mandatory Char Dham Yatra registration on the Uttarakhand government portal (registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in) or at offline counters in Haridwar and Rishikesh. India Holiday Home assists all our travellers with registration.
What is the best time for Char Dham Yatra?
The best time is May–June (before the monsoon) and September–October (after the monsoon). July–August sees heavy rain and possible landslides, so travel with a trusted operator and flexible plans.
