:: Haridwar ::

Haridwar is situated at the base of the Shivalik hills, where the Ganga, comes down from the mighty Himalayas meets the plains. Haridwar, literally is 'The gateway to the Gods'. A Gateway to the four pilgrimage of Uttrakhand, Haridwar's ancient name was Mayapuri. Har- Ki- Pauri is the famous place to see evening ceremony of Ganga, starting at sun set time. Bramha Kund is the place where people wish to take holey dip , because  nectar dropped here during the time of Ocean Churning and also has the importance of Kumbh Mela ( Which comes once  every 12 Years and  the Ardha Kumbha Mela (Coming once every six years) are big draws.  Kavand Mela is also famous here, it comes every year during the time of  July- August. Besides being a religious place, it has served as the center for learning Yoga, science and culture.

 Haridwar is the only Opening Gate of Char Dham Yatra : -  I wish to tell to all that Haridwar is the only opening gate of char dham yatra and it is the only truth ...............

Hari Dwar : - Means Starting Gate or Gate way to Reach at Lord Vishnu's Temple - Badrinath. Hari means Vishnu.

Har Dwar : - Means Starting Gate or Gate way to Reach at Lord Shiva's Temple - Kedarnth. Har means Shiva. 

Note : - In our Char Dham Yatra Package we starts with Haridwar because Haridwar is the most sacred place and Starting point of Char Dham Yatra and all the Pilgrims can see the Ganga Arti and take the blesses for Happy Char Dham Yatra with a Holy Dip at Ganges and can keep the Ganga Jal with them for Kedarnath Temple.

How to Reach Haridwar : - 

By Train : - Haridwar Railway Station is connected with many major station , India Holiday Home's Representative can pick up you from Railway Station and transfer to Hotel.

One can enjoy White Water Rafting here and learn Yoga and Meditation.

:: Dehradun ::

 Situated of the Shivalik Mountain Range in the South, the River Ganges in the East, and the river Yamuna on the West. Dehra Dun Valley is 1500 to 2500 feet above sea level.The city is also historically significant as archeological evidences reveal that that in the times of Mahabharata, these forests were used by the Pandavas when they were sent on their exile. Tourist attractions include: Tapkeshawar Temple, Sahastradhara, Sai Darbar, Malsi Deer Park, Tapowan and many more to see here.  

 :: Mussoori  ::

Mussoori was established by Caption Yong in 1827 ,is a quaint little town at an altitude of 2000 m. It is a popular tourist and Honeymoon Spot, Camel Back, Gun Hill, The Mall road, Company Garden and Kempty Fall are the famous attractions here.  

  :: Deoprayag  ::

Deoprayag is at a distance of 71 km from Rishikesh. The Bhagirathi from Gaumukh mingles with the river Alaknanda from Satopanth to form the sacred Ganga. Pilgrims bath in the Sangam and offer 'Pind' Shradha. At an altitude of 618 Mts. (2000 ft.) here are ancient temples of Raghunathji and Lord Shiva which are both landmarks as well as the Raghunath Kirti Mahavidyalaya, the headquarters of the pandas of the Badrinath.

The pandas of Sri Badrinath hail from this town. Most of the pandas are pandits who are scholarly and their knowledge of Sanskrit is a family inheritance. It is also linked with 30-km motorable road to Pauri. There is a P.W.D. Rest House, a Tourist Bungalow besides, and so many dharamsalas at Deoprayag.
